In the presentation of the cultural evening program, Kathak dance was presented by Divya Goswami. Divya ji started the program with Ganga Stuti composed by Adi Shankaracharya ji, “Ganga Ashtakam Devi Sureshwari Shankari Gange” in Raga Bhoop. He then performed three talas and concluded his program with the traditional bandish of the Lucknow gharana, “Pragati Braj Nandlal Sakal Sukhan Nidhaniya” composed by Pandit Binddin Maharaj.
He was accompanied by Shubh Maharaj on Tabla, Aamir Khan on Sarangi, Shoaib Hassan on Harmonium and Siddharth Bhattacharya on Padant.

Divya was initiated into the Lucknow gharana of Kathak under the able guidance of Guru Yogini Gandhi at Kalanidhi Sansthan, Pune, where she learned for fifteen years. Divya has been learning for many years under the tutelage of the great master of the Lucknow Gharana, Guru Munna Shukla. Possessing a good grasp on both the rhythmic and emotional aspects, she has been training students as well as performing for over fifteen years. Other productions of the cultural program included Ghazals and Bhajans presented by Osman Mir in which he sang various compositions and varied styles, he started with Kabir Bhajan, Mann Lago Mero Yaar Fakiri Mein “Kesariya Balam Ek Bhajan which he sang in Murari Bapu’s program”. The music was composed for “The Resident of Kailash”.
A song from his personal album, Hai Zindagi Kitna Sundar… a Sufi song, “Ae Sakhi Mangal” Gaokri” He also sang his famous song from the movie “Ram Leela”, Mor Bani Than” which is a traditional composition. He was accompanied by Abdul and Ayub Bhai Mir on Tabla, Haroon Bhai on Dholak, Nazir Bhai on Banjo, Ramiz Bhai on Keyboards and Yusuf Bhai on Side Rhythm.
Osman Mir is an Indian playback singer whose songs are mainly in Hindi and Gujarati. His expertise lies in genres like folk, Indian classical, bhajan and ghazal and he is also a tabla player. His first mentor was his father Hussain Mir and later he officially trained under the able guidance of Ismailbhai Datar. The journey of his professional life started with Morari Bapu. He is a certified artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. He has been nominated for the GIMA Award for his songs in the movie “Ram Leela”. He has also been honored with Transmedia, Kutch Shakti Award, Gujarat State Government Film Award, Gauravvant- Gujarati Award.
